We’ve been so busy with the house (don’t worry, you’ll see more pictures soon), that our front garden looked neglected and in desperate need of a revamp.
So we started digging (me and Steve’s mum)…Three hours ‘workout’ consisting of pulling old plants out and replanting them as well as planting roses…lots of them.
Apart from one climbing rose perfect for north facing wall (Handel), we planted four bush roses:
- Guy’s gold – a classic golden rose
- Queen Elizabeth – classic garden rose, blooms of purest pink
- Carris – one with red flowers and a nice scent
- Pomponella – with pom-pom blooms
Steve got an olive tree as well, but after consideration, I’m planning to put it in a pot, and replace it with a cottage style garden. Step by step…
