Dalston Dalston, this is where all the cool kids go out now since the Shoreditch and Old Street have been commercialised.
I remember Dalston 10 years ago, and the choice was limited. The Vortex Jazz Club was one of the options then. I still love it!
Now, the amount of new bars and clubs is unbelievable…
But back to the topic. This column is about inspiring places from an interior perspective, so I’m not going to design your night;)), I’m just going to encourage you to explore Stoke Newington Road further than Dalston superstore.
Just a few suggestions, but feel free to explore for yourself.
Bardens Boudoir great lighting, the leather Chesterfield seats and interesting art collection, esp. the fact that they had a poster of The French Lieutenant’s Woman…in Polish! Brilliant! Super friendly atmosphere was a bonus!
The first image below was taken from the Dalstonist website (great source of advice about where to hang out in Dalston).
Another place worth considering is Ruby’s, a pop-up cocktail bar. Great entrance, and the decor is all about retro and vintage finds.
Let me know if you go to Dalston in the nearest future, and feel free to share with me your favourite places there.
Happy Tuesday! Hope you feel inspired!
