Inspiring places: Whitechapel Gallery

All those who’ve been reading my blog for a while must know that I love East London. I think one day I’ll be awarded a title of East London ambassador:))

This time a short intro to the Whitechapel Gallery located 2 mins walk from Aldgate East station.

It’s a public art gallery founded in 1901 and it’s free to visit. It exhibits the work of contemporary artists, as well as organises retrospective exhibitions, inspiring art courses, and many more. Therefore, if you’ve got a spare hour or so, pop in and enjoy a bit of modern art.

Have you been to the Whitechapel Gallery before?
