Inspiring places: Atelier Abigail Ahern

Hi All,

Over a week ago, I had a pleasure to finally meet in person Lauren and Erin from Girl and the Abode. Interior Novice Doris (the rhyme is accidental haha) kindly organised a meet-up for four of us in North London.

We were very lucky with the weather, so after a lovely brunch at The Elk in the Woods, we went to visit the famous Atelier Abigail Ahern.

The shop is small, but what a treat to one’s eyes! The walls are painted dark, so you are drawn to all colourful exhibits. The NeoBaroque chandelier is striking.

We all couldn’t stop staring at all the quirky lights and accessories. The Bulldog and Pelican lamps put a smile on my face.

I fell in love with the old apothecary cabinet used as a display area for all sorts of glassware and accessories.

The Atelier made me feel like Alice exploring Wonderland.

Have you been there before? What do you think?

  1. It was so lovely to see you and go to Abigail’s store with you Mon. It’s always such a feast on the eyes! I fell in love with that larder also. xD

    1. Indeed. It was great to see it in a great company. Can’t wait for your posts about European adventures! By the way, I went to the Ace hotel last Friday, and had dinner at Hoi Polloi.Talking about yummy food:)))x
