Inspiring places: Corner Room, Town Hall Hotel, East London

Hi All,

Hope you are looking forward to this weekend.

I’ve been lucky enough to have the past two days off…much needed that.

I was looking forward to this longer weekend especially as we had in mind going for lunch to Corner Room situated in an absolutely stunning Town Hall Hotel in East London (nearest tube station is Bethnal Green).

The whole place is breathtaking owing to the perfect mix of Edwardian architecture, Art Deco and modern design.

I couldn’t stop looking at these industrial lamps. Also, the main ceiling lamp is eye-catching.

Just next to the restaurant is The Council Chamber, which is impressive and cosy at the same time thanks to the dark wood paneling and a good choice of furniture and accessories.

The food was pretty special too, so all in all, great place to visit.

I’m going to save up in order to visit the main restaurant Viajante created by Nuno Mendes, and proudly holding Michelin star.

Have you been to The Town Hall Hotel before?

Have a lovely weekend.
